My Bio
Jenny Perez is an esteemed educator with over two decades of dedicated service within the field of special education. Commencing her career with the prestigious NYC Department of Education in September 2010, Jenny honed her skills as an Assistant Teacher at the esteemed Scarsdale Union Free School District. During this tenure, she garnered invaluable experience in implementing inclusive educational methodologies, fostering an environment of academic excellence and inclusivity.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to personalized learning and pedagogical innovation, Jenny transitioned to independent tutoring and educational consultancy in 2008. Here, she demonstrated her adeptness in tailoring instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse learners, earning recognition for her exemplary dedication and results-driven approach.

Jenny's academic journey underscores her fervent dedication to enhancing her professional acumen. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Lehman College, where she cultivated a profound understanding of societal dynamics and cultural diversity. Building upon this foundation, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lehman College, augmenting her expertise in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Additionally, Jenny acquired a Bilingual Extension from Hunter College, further enhancing her ability to bridge language barriers and promote equitable access to education for all.

Currently, Jenny thrives in a specialized special education setting within District 75, where she serves as a beacon of excellence and innovation. Leveraging her comprehensive skill set and profound understanding of educational best practices, she orchestrates transformative learning experiences that empower students to realize their full potential and achieve academic success.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Jenny remains deeply committed to community engagement and philanthropic initiatives. She generously volunteers her time at a local food pantry, embodying her belief in the transformative power of compassion and service.
